Let's Meet in Tenants Harbor, Maine

Meet me in Tenants Harbor at the Jackson Memorial Llbrary at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 30th. With the help of Library Director,Yvonne Gloede, we have prepared a program with techniques for planning a summer party, a list of pantry staples for easy entertaining and never-fail recipes.

Small Business of the Year

I am so excited and honored that the store received the award. It represents all the hard work of the staff but also the support and interest from our community. Being a neighborhood store is all about our neighbors, the ones who walk to the store, who ask us about new products, who tell us when they love the new things we try and when there are things that are not their favorite products. Thank you to all the customers and staff of Megunticook Market who help shape and mold the market to make it a great shopping and browsing experience each day. This award is really for all of you!

Herb Roasted Turkey with Lani on WCSH's 207

Img_1072_3 On Wednesday, November 21, Lani Temple, owner of Megunticook Market in Camden, Maine joins Rob Caldwell, host of WCSH's 207 to prepare an Herb Roasted Turkey.

A flavorful and juicy turkey is easy to prepare. Just tuck herbs and butter under the skin to give the turkey meat a savory infusion of rosemary and sage.

Watch WCSH's 207 When Lani Temple Makes Chili

Img_1018_2On Monday, October 1st, Lani Temple, owner of Megunticook Market in Camden, Maine will join Rob Caldwell, host of WCSH's 207 to prepare homemade chili.

Lani's homemade chili incorporates wine and local ingredients, like green peppers, onions and jalapeno peppers from Beth's Farm Market located in Warren, Maine.

On Thursday, June 28 at 3:30 p.m., Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens will host
a cooking demonstration with Maine Food & Lifestyle Columnist and
Megunticook Market owner Lani Temple. She will share simple but savory
recipes for seasonal marinades and salads that are great for entertaining.

Temple will appear in the new Kitchen Garden Café at the Gardens, located
off Barters Island Road in Boothbay. The fee is $20 for members and $25 for
